HydroPro Solutions seeks a software engineer to contribute to the success of its flagship Water Utility Platform: HP Solve.  

HP Solve is the indispensable tool kit that utilities and other institutions use every day to fulfill their missions. The system provides modules for water meter installations, AMI system management, pipeline pressure and flow monitoring, utility network threat detection, asset tracking, and much more.  

The software engineers who build and maintain HP Solve are generalists with wide-ranging skills and experience and, most importantly, ceaseless curiosity a relentless drive to make the system better, smarter, faster, and more effective. As such, we seek a well-rounded software engineer with the following skill set:  

• Data management skills including, data modeling, data ingestion (including from varying sources such as CSV, text, and more), data transformations, and data migrations. 
• Databases including Postgres and MongoDB 
• Data languages such as SQL and MQL 
• Custom scripting NodeJS, Python, and other languages 
• Experience with offline-mode/PWA’s and/or Local-First and database sync tools 
• Full-stack web development 
• Git/Github  
• CI/CD  
• React/NextJS 
• NodeJS server/api endpoints
• TailwindCSS
